The trail runs from the end of spring Street at Birch Avenue to Falls Court in Ellsworth Falls. The trails accessible from Falls Court, Lakes Lane, Ellsworth high school, Lejok street, Davis Street, Birch Avenue

If trying to access the trail From downtown

We recommend crossing Oak StreetAt the main street traffic lightThen headed down Oak Street one block And turn right on Church Street, Then head down Church Street 1 block and turn left on Spring Street Continue on Spring Street for 3 blocks, then Cross the railroad tracks and you should find the trail entrance to your left adjacent to the tracks on Birch Avenue. Please note the railroad tracks are active do not walk on them

If trying to access the trail from the Downeast Sunrise Trail

We recommend Taking Beals Avenue from the Downeast Sunrise Trail to Main St. then cross main Street, (please note there is no crosswalk at Main Street), After crossing Main StreetContinue upUnion Street for one block to Bayview Avenue continue on Bayview Avenue for three blocks, At the end of Bayview Avenue turn left down Park Street, once you have Crossed the railroad tracks Turn right down Spring Street For one block, then Cross the railroad tracks and you should find the trail entrance to your left adjacent to the tracks on Birch Avenue Please note the railroad tracks are active do not walk on them

If trying to access a trail from State Street/Knowlton Park

Cross State Street at the community Center then,Continue down State StreetTowards downtown for one block, Then turn down school StreetFor one blockThen turn down Burch AvenueContinue down Burch Avenue to Oak Street, Walk down Oak Street for approximately one block Heading towards Ellsworth high school,Cross Oak Street at the crosswalk at Davis Street Continue up Davis Street and you should be able to find the trail Adjacent to the railroad tracks. NOTE!! Burch Avenue does not have sidewalks. For approximately 2 Properties on Oak St. there are no Sidewalks. Please use caution we do not recommend this route with children
