The Land Action Team is focused on strengthening and promoting sustainable land use in Ellsworth, including matters relating to sustainable development and housing. Our vision is for an Ellsworth in which the conservation of green spaces is central to our future development, our quality of life, and the biodiversity of the environment. We seek to enhance the care and management of public parks and green spaces and to facilitate the full engagement of the community in that effort.

Specific areas of focus for the Land Action Team are being Addressed by the Conserved Lands Committee, the Green Spaces and Trees Committee, and the Historic Preservation Commission.
